Design is everything else but good looking object or space. What makes desing works is not the shape, the colour or the details, it's all these things gathered together in a perfect harmony.
The most important thing for me are the details and proportions. They distinguish good from great design, regular from memorable one.
Good design is as little design as possible.
Design above all is function. The most important thing I have learned throughout the years is that we create things to serve us in the first place and look good in second.
Design is great looking function, not the opposite.
Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add but when there is nothing left to take away.
